A newcomer to the H.K. movie scene, Francoise was born in British Columbia, Canada.  Her breakthrough came in the form of the Jackie Chan movie "Rumble in the Bronx", playing Nancy.  It's rumoured that she did not speak any Cantonese until her film debut in '95 and has since gone on to star in several H.K. blockbusters.  Her other most notable role was in the 1996 hit, "Black Mask", appearing opposite another huge star, Jet Li.  Rumours are floating around that she has had meetings with Oliver Stone as he has a script that will suit her.  She was last seen on American t.v. screens in a cameo role as a flight attendant in "Millennium".
